Hollister, CA – With both sadness and gratitude, the Community FoodBank Board of Directors announces the resignation of Sarah Nordwick as the Chief Executive Officer, effective May 25, 2024. We are grateful for the positive impact and contributions Sarah provided during her tenure, she has been an integral part of the Community FoodBank.

Under her leadership, the Community FoodBank has achieved remarkable milestones, served more families, and made substantial progress toward strategic objectives. We extend our sincere appreciation to Sarah for her compassion and exceptional leadership throughout her time here. Her impacts have been instrumental in shaping the Community FoodBank into the dynamic and successful organization it is today.

We want to reassure our community that the Board is working diligently to ensure a smooth and seamless transition. We are committed to maintaining the quality of our operations and upholding our commitment to delivering vital services to our community. During this transition period, the Board will be actively engaged in the search for a new CEO who possesses the experience, vision, and leadership qualities to help guide the Community FoodBank into its next phase of growth and success.

As we embark on this new chapter, we remain steadfast as the Board of Directors in our commitment to our values, our employees, our volunteers, our customers, and our partners. We thank you for your continued support and confidence in the Community FoodBank and look forward to the opportunities that lie ahead.
