UPDATE: March 2020

COMMUNITY FOODBANK PROVIDES GROCERIES DURING CORONAVIRUS
Community FoodBank’s marketplace on Fridays and Saturdays has been transformed into a drive-thru pickup

As an added level of precaution, Community FoodBank’s marketplace on Fridays and Saturdays has been transformed into a “drive-thru pickup.” Customers who normally come to the food bank will be able to stay in their vehicles and have bags of groceries brought to them.

Community FoodBank continues to take measures to ensure the health of our staff, volunteers and customers, by following the CDC guidelines that include hand washing and social distancing.

Our service levels will be maintained while we close our business office to the public. All questions and new sign-ups for food are served by phone or email.

CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS – PACKING GROCERY BAGS

Volunteers are essential to our operation and ability to provide food for our neighbors in need. Specifically, we are asking for volunteers to help pack grocery bags that will be given to customers. Individual volunteers are welcome and volunteer teams are strongly encouraged. Companies, groups or churches can assemble teams to come to the food bank for a few hours at a time.

Volunteers will not be working with the public and will instead be working in small groups to pack grocery bags inside the food bank’s warehouse. Personal protective supplies such as gloves and hand sanitizer are provided.

CALL FOR FUNDS – DONATE ONLINE OR BY CHECK
